This SilencerCo Thread Over Muzzle Brake is a muzzle device designed for .223 caliber rifles with a standard 1/2x28 threaded barrel. It threads over the muzzle to provide a brake that helps tame recoil and muzzle rise, which helps keep the sights on target between shots. It also serves as a handy mounting interface for compatible SilencerCo suppressors, letting shooters move quickly between a brake and a can. SilencerCo is one of the best known names in the suppressor industry, and this brake offers a practical upgrade for AR-15s and other 5.56 or .223 platforms.
