Springfield Armory's Loaded Target is a full-size 1911 built with the upgrades most shooters immediately add to a base gun: adjustable target sights, a match barrel and bushing, an extended beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger. Chambered in 9mm with a 5-inch barrel and a stainless finish, it is a distinctly pleasant gun to shoot at length. The 1911's weight combined with 9mm's mild recoil makes for very fast, very flat strings of fire.
