The open-tine design breaks up muzzle flash about as completely as anything on the market, and the prongs are tuned to avoid the ringing that plagues lesser designs. Threaded 1/2x28 for 5.56mm barrels, it installs on virtually any AR-15 and leaves you ready to add a compatible SureFire can later without changing hardware.
