SureFire's muzzle devices do double duty: they work as effective flash hiders on their own, and they serve as the mounting interface for SureFire's SOCOM-series suppressors. The three-prong design is the company's signature — the open tines break up muzzle flash extremely well and resist the tuning-fork ringing that plagued earlier prong designs.

This is the 7.62mm version with 5/8x24 threading, sized for .308-class rifles. The precision-machined shoulder and included hardware ensure the device indexes concentrically, which matters both for accuracy and for suppressor alignment. Built from heat-treated stainless steel to survive sustained fire.
