The 110 Ultralite is Savage's mountain rifle, and this is the left-hand version chambered in .308 Winchester. The centerpiece is a Proof Research carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel, which sheds serious weight from the muzzle end without giving up rigidity or heat management. Savage's AccuTrigger lets you tune pull weight to your preference, and the AccuFit stock system uses interchangeable combs and length-of-pull inserts so the rifle actually fits the shooter rather than the other way around. In .308, it is a do-everything hunting rifle with ammunition available anywhere. True left-hand actions are always in short supply, which makes this one worth a look.
