The Axis is the rifle that made a genuinely accurate bolt action widely available to new hunters, and it has sold in enormous numbers on the strength of that. This XP package is chambered in .22-250 Remington with a 20-inch threaded barrel and ships as a complete, scoped setup so a new shooter or a varmint hunter can be zeroed and hunting without a separate optics purchase.

The .22-250 is a classic flat-shooting varmint round, and the threaded muzzle means a brake or suppressor can be added later.
