The Savage Axis has done more than almost any rifle to prove that an affordable hunting rifle can genuinely shoot. This XP package pairs the Axis action with a mounted and bore-sighted scope, so it arrives ready for a trip to the range to confirm zero rather than needing a separate optics purchase and a mounting job.

Chambered in .30-06 Springfield, the most versatile big-game cartridge in North America, it wears a 20-inch blued threaded barrel in a synthetic stock. The threaded muzzle takes a brake or suppressor, and the .30-06 covers everything from whitetail to elk.
