The Axis 2 XP is Savage's scoped package rifle: you get the barreled action, stock and a mounted, bore-sighted scope together, which is why it is such a common starting point for new hunters. This one is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, the cartridge that redefined what a mild-recoiling round can do at distance, with a 20-inch threaded barrel and a green synthetic stock. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger is what really separates it from other package rifles, letting you tune the pull to your preference rather than living with whatever came out of the factory.
