Savage's Axis 2 XP is the package deal that has introduced an enormous number of hunters to a rifle that actually shoots: a proven bolt action, the user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a mounted scope, ready to sight in. This one is chambered in .350 Legend with an 18-inch threaded barrel and a green synthetic stock over a blued action.

The .350 Legend was designed specifically for straight-wall cartridge states, offering good terminal performance on deer inside two hundred yards with modest recoil and affordable ammunition. The threaded muzzle leaves the door open for a brake or suppressor.
