The Savage Axis 2 family is one of the most popular affordable bolt-action rifle lines in the country, built around the user-adjustable AccuTrigger, a detachable box magazine and a modern synthetic stock. This XP left-hand-action model with a threaded barrel is designed as a ready-to-hunt package, and the .308 chambering offers plentiful factory ammunition for deer, antelope and target work. Chambered in .308 Winchester, it suits hunters who want a lightweight, accurate field rifle that is easy to mount optics on and ready to work out of the box.
