Finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo, this Savage Axis 2 Pro is chambered in .338 ARC, a modern cartridge co-developed by SIG Sauer and Savage that delivers strong medium-game performance with excellent subsonic and suppressed-shooting characteristics, whether run in an AR-pattern rifle or a bolt gun like this one. The 16-inch barrel keeps the rifle compact and easy to maneuver, a length well suited to suppressed hunting where overall length matters. Paired with Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger, this rifle gives hunters an affordable, accurate way to get into one of the newest cartridges on the market, particularly for hog and deer hunting at moderate range.
