The Savage Axis 2 Compact XP is a scaled-down bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, an accurate, mild-recoiling cartridge popular with hunters and precision shooters alike. A 20-inch barrel and a shorter length of pull make it a great fit for smaller-framed shooters, youth hunters and anyone who wants a quick-handling rifle.

As part of the XP package it comes with a scope pre-mounted and bore-sighted, so you can get to the range with minimal fuss. Savage's AccuTrigger and straightforward action make it easy to shoot well right out of the box.
