Savage's Axis 2 XP packages a complete, ready-to-hunt rifle: the bolt action, a mounted and boresighted scope, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger that sets the second-generation Axis apart from budget rifles. This is a left-hand configuration, which is genuinely hard to find at this level.

Chambered in .223 Remington with a 22-inch barrel, it's an excellent varmint and predator rifle with almost no recoil and inexpensive ammunition — a good choice for a new shooter or a dedicated coyote gun.
