A left-hand Savage Axis 2 XP package in .350 Legend, with an 18-inch barrel, black metal and a gray synthetic stock, sold as a complete scoped combination ready to sight in. The .350 Legend exists because a large number of Midwestern states restrict deer hunting to straight-wall cartridges, and it delivers clean, effective performance inside typical woods range with notably light recoil. The Axis 2 includes Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which is unusual and genuinely valuable on a rifle at this level. Left-handed hunters looking for a turnkey straight-wall setup have few options this complete.
