The Savage Axis II Pro Forest is a left-handed bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, one of North America's most proven big-game cartridges. Savage builds the Axis line around the AccuTrigger, a user-adjustable trigger with a safety blade that helps deliver crisp, repeatable shots. This version carries a 20-inch barrel, a bronze finish and a synthetic stock, keeping weight and handling quick in thick timber. The detachable box magazine makes loading and unloading simple. It is a practical, no-nonsense choice for deer, elk and general field use, especially for left-handed shooters who have too few true left-hand rifles to choose from.
