The Savage Axis II Pro Western is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6mm ARC with a 20-inch barrel, built for hunting and range use. The 6mm ARC is a newer cartridge known for good ballistics and mild recoil in a short-action rifle.

The Axis line offers value-priced accuracy, and the AccuTrigger lets shooters adjust the pull to their liking. The bronze finish adds a distinct look, and the rifle is well suited to deer, varmints, and target shooting.
