The Savage Axis II XP in 6.5 Creedmoor is a bolt-action rifle with a 22-inch barrel, black metal and FDE stock, bundled with a scope for a quick start. The 6.5 Creedmoor has become one of the most popular cartridges for hunters and target shooters because of its high ballistic coefficient bullets, flat trajectory and manageable recoil. With Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger and a free-floated barrel, this package is a strong value for a first precision hunting rifle, whether you are heading out for deer, antelope or just ringing steel at distance.
