The Savage Arms Axis XP is a left-hand bolt-action package chambered in .25-06 Remington, a flat-shooting cartridge that has been a favorite of deer and antelope hunters for decades. It has a 22-inch barrel, a black synthetic stock, and ships with a scope already mounted. Savage's AccuTrigger lets you adjust the pull weight, and left-handed shooters get a true left-bolt design. The .25-06 offers a nice balance of velocity and mild recoil, making this an easy-to-shoot hunting rifle that is ready for the field out of the box.
