The Savage B.Mag is a rimfire rifle chambered in .17 WSM, a flat-shooting, high-velocity cartridge that bridges the gap between .22 Magnum and centerfire varmint rounds. This version features a 22-inch heavy barrel on a stainless action with a synthetic stock, designed for varmint hunters who need accuracy at 150 yards and beyond. Savage's B.Mag uses a delayed-blowback semi-auto action to handle the magnum rimfire pressures, which is unusual in a rimfire.

If you hunt prairie dogs or coyotes at moderate range, this rifle provides fast follow-up shots.
