The Savage Arms M301 Turkey is a single-shot 12 gauge shotgun with a 26-inch barrel, aimed squarely at spring gobbler hunters who want a simple, dependable field gun. Single-shot break-action designs have few moving parts, are easy to check for safety, and are light to carry on long walks to a setup. Savage dresses it in a camouflage finish to help you disappear in the timber.

Pair it with a quality turkey choke and dedicated turkey loads for tight patterns at turkey distances. It is also a sensible first shotgun for younger or newer hunters.
