The Minimalist version uses a lightweight skeletonized stock — here in teal — that trims weight further and gives the rifle some personality. Chambered in .22 LR with a 16-inch barrel, it includes Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, an unusually good trigger for a youth gun and a real advantage when teaching fundamentals. Peep sights come standard, and the receiver accepts scope mounts.
