The SAR Firearms SAR9 Compact Gen 3 is a striker-fired polymer 9mm from Sarsilmaz, Turkey's largest firearms manufacturer, offering full-featured duty-pistol design with no frills left out. The Gen 3 refines the ergonomics and controls of a platform that has already passed demanding military trials, with interchangeable backstraps and side panels to fit a wide range of hands, a crisp trigger and ambidextrous controls. This compact version carries a 4-inch barrel and a 15-round magazine in an OD Green Cerakote finish, making it a solid carry, home-defense or range pistol with a Picatinny rail for a light. SAR pistols have earned a following for reliability and durability that surprise first-time owners, and the SAR9 Compact is the sweet spot of the line for everyday use.
