SAR Firearms builds striker-fired polymer pistols in Turkey with a reputation for solid construction and good value, and the SAR9 SC Gen 2 is the subcompact carry version. With a 3.3-inch barrel in 9mm and a black finish, it sits in the size class that dominates concealed carry: small enough to disappear under a shirt, large enough to actually shoot well. Gen 2 updates bring improved ergonomics and texturing over the original. For a shooter building a carry setup without stretching the budget, it deserves a look alongside the usual names.
