The Taurus PT1911 is a full-size 1911-style pistol in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel, a black finish and VZ grips. Taurus has built a following for offering the classic 1911 design at a value price point.

The 1911 design is known for its single-action trigger, which many shooters find crisp and easy to control. With a steel frame, the pistol has a solid feel that helps tame the recoil of the .45 ACP. It is a good fit for range shooting and 1911 fans.
