The Taurus 22TUC is a micro-compact .22 LR pistol with a tip-up barrel, a feature that lets you chamber a round without racking the slide. That makes it easy for shooters with limited hand strength and eliminates one of the most common frustrations with tiny rimfire pistols. The 2.5-inch barrel on this version is threaded, so a rimfire suppressor turns it into an exceptionally quiet plinker, and the black finish keeps it subdued. It holds nine rounds plus one in the chamber and weighs well under a pound, making it an easy pocket or pack gun for pest control, trail carry or introducing new shooters to a handgun with essentially no recoil. Taurus brings this classic design idea back for a new generation of shooters.
