The Taurus TX22 earned a strong reputation by doing something .22 pistols historically struggled with: running reliably across a wide range of ammunition while feeling like a full-size duty gun in the hand. The Gen 2 refines that formula with improved ergonomics and an optics-ready slide for shooters who want to train with a red dot without burning centerfire ammo.

The 4.1-inch barrel, light polymer frame, and near-nonexistent .22 LR recoil make it one of the best trainers and plinkers available, and an easy gun to hand a new shooter. This one pairs a black slide with OD green frame.
