The Raging Hunter is Taurus's big-bore hunting revolver, and in .500 S&W Magnum it sits at the very top of the handgun power scale, capable of taking anything that walks in North America. The 8.37-inch ported barrel does real work here, taming muzzle rise and bleeding off some of the ferocious recoil that cartridge generates. A full-length Picatinny rail on top makes mounting a handgun scope or red dot simple, and the cushioned grip is one of the features that made this line popular with hunters who actually shoot heavy loads. Finished in matte black, it is built for the field rather than the display case.
