The Taurus 856 is one of the most popular compact six-shot .38 Special revolvers on the market, and the TORO version adds a factory-milled, optics-ready top strap so a compact red dot can be mounted directly to the frame. This model pairs a 3-inch barrel with a matte black finish, giving you a slightly longer sight radius and a bit more velocity than a snub-nose while staying easy to carry. Six rounds of .38 Special, a simple double-action/single-action trigger and no magazine or slide to manipulate make it a straightforward choice for personal protection, nightstand duty or new shooters who want reliability above all.
