The Taurus TX22 Compact is a lightweight .22 LR semi-automatic pistol with a 3.5-inch barrel and a polymer frame in black. The TX22 line is popular because it brings a full-featured handgun experience at a gentle recoil level: it has a reliable striker-fired feel, a slim grip and a user-friendly layout that mirrors many centerfire pistols. This version has no manual safety and a 10-round capacity, which keeps things simple and makes it a good fit for training, plinking, small-game, and building fundamentals with low-cost ammunition.
