The Taurus TX22 Compact is a .22 LR semi-automatic pistol with a 3.5-inch barrel and a black finish, and this version comes with a Viridian laser. The TX22 line has been widely praised for its large magazine capacity, light recoil, and pistol-like ergonomics. The compact version offers a slightly smaller grip and shorter barrel for easier carry and handling. It is an excellent choice for training, plinking, and small-game, and its 22 LR cartridge keeps ammunition costs low. It is a great gun for new shooters learning the basics.
