Thompson/Center's Encore Pro Hunter is the break-open single shot that built a following on versatility. The frame accepts interchangeable barrels across a wide range of rifle, muzzleloader and shotgun chamberings, so one receiver can become several different guns over time. The break-open action is also about as simple and safe to verify as designs get.

This barrel is a 26 in. stainless tube in 6.5 Creedmoor, an accurate, efficient and mild-recoiling cartridge, paired with the recoil-absorbing FlexTech stock and forend for comfortable shooting from the bench or the field.
