The Tisas 1911A1 Tank Commander is a 9mm 1911-style pistol with a 4.25-inch barrel in black. Tisas is a Turkish manufacturer that has built a following for affordable, solidly made 1911s. The Commander-length barrel is a handy size, and chambering in 9mm means lighter recoil and cheaper ammunition than .45 ACP. It offers the classic single-action trigger and traditional controls, making it a good option for range days and for 1911 enthusiasts looking for a value-minded pistol.
