The Tisas 1911 Carry Double Stack is a modern take on the 1911 that holds a double-stack magazine in a 9mm platform with a 4.25-inch barrel, Commander-length slide and a black finish. Tisas, a Turkish manufacturer, has earned a following for delivering well-fitted 1911-pattern pistols at a good value, and the double-stack format gives you more rounds on tap than a classic single-stack while keeping the familiar single-action trigger.

It is a good fit for shooters who love the 1911 trigger and controls but want capacity for carry, competition or range days.
