TriStar has carved out a niche importing capable shotguns built to be used hard, and the Raptor is their gas-operated semi-automatic line. The ATAC variant takes that action and configures it for defensive and tactical use rather than the field.

This 12-gauge wears a short 20-inch barrel with a 3-inch chamber, a combination that keeps the gun quick to swing indoors or in tight quarters while still cycling standard field and buckshot loads. Semi-automatic operation means lighter felt recoil than a pump and faster follow-up shots. Synthetic furniture and blued metal keep maintenance simple.
