The Cobra III is TriStar's pump-action field shotgun, and this one is chambered in .410 bore with a 28-inch barrel and a wood stock, rated for 3-inch shells. A .410 pump is an underrated tool. It is light, it kicks almost not at all, and in the hands of a practiced shooter it is deadly on squirrels, rabbits, and close-flushing upland birds.

It ships with three interchangeable choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder, so it can be tuned from tight patterns on squirrels to open patterns on close birds. A good choice for young or recoil-sensitive shooters moving up from a rimfire.
