The Viper G2 is TriStar's gas-operated semi-automatic, and it has developed a following among upland hunters for handling and reliability that belie its standing in the market. This Pro Bronze model is chambered in 28 gauge with a 28-inch barrel and a bronze-finished receiver over walnut furniture. The 28 gauge is the bore serious upland shooters gravitate toward: it patterns far better than its small payload suggests, produces very little recoil, and makes a light gun a genuine pleasure to carry behind a dog. The Viper ships with interchangeable chokes, shims for fit adjustment, and a fiber optic front bead.
