Tokarev USA imports magazine-fed 12 gauge semi-autos that have become popular for tactical shotgun matches and defensive use, and this TBP-series gun pairs an 18.5-inch barrel with a splatter-pattern camo finish and 3-inch chamber. Magazine-fed shotguns solve the biggest problem with the platform, which is reload speed: instead of thumbing shells into a tube under pressure, you swap a box magazine. The gas-operated action tames 12 gauge recoil noticeably compared to a pump, and the AR-influenced controls feel familiar to anyone who has run a modern sporting rifle.
