The Taylor's & Company Runnin' Iron is a single-action revolver built for the shooter who wants a fast, refined Peacemaker-style gun rather than a museum piece. Manufactured by Uberti to Taylor's specifications and given the Taylor Tuned action treatment, it has a lowered, wide-spur hammer for quick thumb cocking, a slicked-up action and a clean trigger. This .45 Colt version wears a short 3.5-inch barrel, a blued finish and checkered wood grips, giving it the look and handling of the cut-down gunfighter revolvers of the Old West. Six rounds of .45 Colt are plenty for cowboy action shooting, trail carry or simply enjoying one of the most satisfying revolvers ever designed, and the short barrel makes it a natural for a crossdraw or belt holster.
