Built on Weatherby's Model 307 action, this Alpine variant is aimed squarely at the mountain hunter: a lightweight build, a 22-inch barrel, and a black finish that shrugs off weather on multi-day hunts. The 307's Remington 700 footprint means an owner is never short on stock, trigger, base or chassis options down the road.

It is chambered in 6.5 RPM, Weatherby's rebated-rim magnum designed to squeeze magnum-class velocity out of a short, light rifle without the recoil penalty of a full-size magnum. That combination makes it a natural for deer, sheep, antelope and open-country hunting where every ounce carried matters.
