The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT is a lightweight bolt-action rifle chambered in the 7mm Backcountry, a modern Weatherby cartridge designed for flat shooting and good performance from shorter barrels. This model has a 20-inch barrel and a black finish, which keeps it compact and handy for climbing and hiking. The Alpine line is meant for mountain hunters who count every ounce. The 7mm Backcountry cartridge is a nice choice for those who want magnum-like performance with less recoil and a more portable rifle.
