The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT Carbon is a bolt-action rifle in .280 Ackley Improved, with a 22-inch carbon barrel and a gray finish in an MDT stock. Weatherby pairs its 307 action with MDT's chassis-style stock for a modern lightweight rifle.

Carbon construction reduces weight, which is a plus for mountain hunting, and the .280 AI is a versatile long-range cartridge for deer, elk and similar game. The result is a lightweight, accurate rig.
