The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a lightweight bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 Creedmoor and set in an MDT chassis system. The chassis gives the rifle a modern, adjustable fit and uses AICS-pattern magazines, which are widely available. The 16-inch barrel and black finish give it a compact, handy profile that is easy to carry afield. The .22 Creedmoor is a cartridge aimed at flat-shooting accuracy with mild recoil, and it suits varmint hunting and precision practice. It is a good fit for shooters who want a compact, chassis-style rifle with Weatherby's reputation for accuracy.
