The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .280 Ackley Improved with a 24-inch barrel and a black finish. The .280 AI is a refined cartridge that squeezes extra velocity out of the .280 Remington case and is favored by hunters who like a flat trajectory with moderate recoil. The Weatherby 307 action is mounted in an MDT chassis with an adjustable stock and AICS magazine compatibility. It is a good fit for hunters and precision shooters who want a modern chassis rifle with a classic mid-bore chambering.
