The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 16-inch barrel and a black finish. It uses the Weatherby 307 action in an MDT chassis with an adjustable stock and accepts AICS-pattern magazines, which offer plenty of aftermarket options. The 6.5 Creedmoor is popular for its flat trajectory, light recoil, and strong ballistic coefficient, making it a good choice for hunting, steel shooting, and precision practice. The short barrel keeps the rifle handy for packing into the backcountry or maneuvering from a truck.
