The Weatherby 307 Range SF Heavy Barrel is a bolt-action rifle in .308 Winchester with a 20-inch heavy barrel and gray finish. The heavier barrel is designed for consistent accuracy during extended strings of fire, which suits range work, target shooting, and varmint hunting. It uses Magpul bottom metal and magazines, giving you access to a widely supported magazine platform. The .308 Winchester is one of the most common and versatile rifle cartridges, with plenty of factory ammunition available. Weatherby's name carries a lot of weight in the rifle world, and this model brings that heritage to the range.
