The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a lightweight mountain hunting rifle chambered in 7mm PRC, with a left-handed action for southpaw hunters. The Backcountry 2.0 combines a carbon-fiber stock with a fluted, Cerakote-finished barrel to cut weight, and uses Weatherby's nine-lug Mark V action with its quick, smooth bolt lift. This version carries a 24-inch barrel and a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish for weather resistance. The 7mm PRC is a modern long-range cartridge well suited to elk, mule deer, and other big game at distance.
