The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Carbon is a lightweight, left-handed bolt-action hunting rifle with a 26 inch barrel and a black finish. Weatherby's Mark V action has a reputation for its strength and smoothness, using a nine-lug bolt and a short bolt lift. Carbon fiber construction cuts weight for hunters who hike far to reach their game, while the long barrel helps high-performance cartridges reach their velocity potential. It is a capable choice for mountain and western big game hunting.
