The Weatherby Vanguard has earned its reputation the hard way — every rifle ships with a sub-MOA guarantee backed by an actual test target, and the two-lug, cock-on-open action is known for being tough rather than delicate. The Badlands configuration adds a burnt bronze Cerakote finish over the barreled action and a rugged composite stock in Badlands camouflage.

Chambered in 7mm PRC with a 24-inch barrel, this is one of the more interesting rifles you can buy right now. The 7mm PRC was designed around long, heavy, high-BC 7mm bullets in a modern beltless case with a fast twist to stabilize them — the result is flatter, better-bucking-wind performance than the older 7mm magnums, without a big jump in recoil. Excellent for elk and long-range western hunting.
