The Weatherby Vanguard S2 Sporter is a classic-looking hunting rifle that blends a blued barreled action with a wood-pattern stock and contrasting forend. Chambered in the ever-popular .270 Winchester with a 24-inch barrel, it is a proven choice for deer, antelope, sheep and elk-sized game at moderate to long range. The Vanguard line has long been recognized for solid accuracy at a fair value, and the .270 Win offers a flat-shooting trajectory with manageable recoil.

If you want a straightforward bolt-action that looks right in a gun cabinet and works hard in the field, this Sporter fits the bill.
