The Weatherby Vanguard Outfitter is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, with a 22-inch gray barrel. The 7mm-08 is a favorite among hunters who want mild recoil with excellent ballistic performance, making it a good option for whitetail, pronghorn, and youth or recoil-sensitive shooters. The Vanguard line is Weatherby's value series, offering strong, accurate actions at a more accessible level than the Mark V. It's a practical choice for a primary hunting rifle that is easy to carry and pleasant to shoot.
